Allison Brzezinski joined Stonestreet Studios after serving as the Senior Director of Programming at One on One NYC/LA for almost four years. There, she helped guide actors through the next steps of their career by demystifying the business of acting and sharing her knowledge of the industry.
Prior to this experience, she worked with a variety of notable theater and dance companies including Primary Stages, White Wave Dance Company, Children’s Theatre Company, FringeNYC, Planet Connections Theater Festivity, Parsons Dance, and the New York International Ballet Competition.
In addition to serving as an arts administrator and educator she is a producer, performance artist and choreographer, focusing particularly on the current political climate and how women are seen in today’s society. This passion led her to create ChEck Us OuT Dance Festival: A Celebration of Female Choreographers, in which she curated female dance makers from across the globe to perform in NYC. Other producing highlights include: A Thread that Ties Us All, Sexless Pornos: a performance and photography exhibition, and the live art series U.S.O.ver.
Allison’s choreography has been presented in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, across New England, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Some of her other accomplishments include being a Resident Artist of Spaceworks (Long Island City) and a member of the Peer Leadership Circle for Dance Mentorship Program, produced by Queens Council on the Arts.
She is currently orchestrating Nasty Women Unite Fest, a multimedia arts celebration of intersectional feminism that will take place this spring.
