OUR MISSION

Stonestreet's mission is to produce work that is socially conscious, relevant, thought provoking, entertaining and inspiring in all genres and formats. In its 33rd year, Stonestreet has become known for its diverse community of creative, socially conscious, and nurturing directors, writers, coaches, producers, editors, and actors along with its strong relationships with casting directors, agencies, distribution platforms and festivals. Creating a workplace that nurtures a diverse group of colleagues, all ages, races and religions in a healthy, collaborative, and creative environment has been tantamount to the decades of work Stonestreet continues to develop, produce and distribute.

Our unique Screen Acting & Production Residency Program for NYU Tisch Drama and our Professional Residency Program continues to nurture and train new up-and-coming young artists to become our working colleagues. 

Collaborative Working Environment

We aim to uphold Stonestreet’s working environment as an actively inclusive space by committing ourselves to remaining a small organization that refuses to become impersonal. We care deeply about everyone’s experience and work to have a collaborative, creative and constructive learning environment. It is our first priority to build a space where everyone feels safe and empowered to explore their own condition as well as open their eyes to the conditions of others. 

As an independent studio that is serving NYU Tisch Drama, our goal is for everyone to infuse a progressive spirit into the work and the magic that we can create together. When something gets in the way of anyone’s experience and process, we are grateful for those who reach out and communicate directly to the leadership of the studio so we can listen, support, investigate, take action, resolve, and get back to work with more experience and a stronger unified voice.
