About the NYU Tisch Drama Residency Program

Stonestreet Studios is the only Screen Acting & Production Program in the country that trains students in the art of screen acting immersed in the environment of a film studio in all genres and formats – from screen audition to being featured in professional film projects. Directing, writing, and production hyphenates work from script to screen on pilots, series, and short films.

As an advanced program NYU Tisch Drama, Stonestreet opens its doors to professional and international students every summer for this six-week intensive workshop and through it’s professional program. The program is available to be taken for NYU credit or mon-credit.

Stonestreet is a 10,000-sq ft, full service film studio with multi-camera set-ups, sound, lighting, and post-production editing systems. While experiencing this world first hand in studio, on set, and through post-production, students learn to creatively meet and surmount the demands it creates, whether they are actors, directors, or interested in other key jobs in film, including production and writing.
